try checking the local auctions in your area. They have listings in your paper and you can get good deals at estate auctions

Farmers diversifying into land development and house building use their tractors and machinery to do the work?
Do you think any of them buy ordinary deisel to run them when not doing farm work.
I'm almost certain that the large construction firms don't get an allowance of red duty free deisel

on our small farm we have the following vintage equipment for which we occasionally need parts: IH TD-340 bulldozer, Massey Ferguson 50C backhoe, IH 140 farm tractor, New Holland 271 baler, and so forth. Restoration in progress on all noted. Will be looking for decals, filters, bushings, gaskets, etc. Thanks!

i have a 1948 Farmall H tractor and one of the push rods is bent is it okay to put it in bent?
not a wise choice if you went through the trouble to take it out you might as well change it then you won't have problems
